I am an experienced, social justice informed leader and a trained coach with management experience in Washington state government, and a background in equity and belonging.
A theme across my work is serving as a bridge to create clarity and understanding across significant difference. Some of my ways of contributing are to invite perspective and to support flow . I have a coaching orientation that is based on listening carefully, reflecting faithfully, and inquiring strategically. My goal is to offer the person a transformative container in which to explore thinking, feeling, doing, and being. I respect and support the strengths and wisdom of in each person. My way of working in organizations is to collaborate in ways that foreground the historically marginalized voices to invite deeper relationality.
What excites me is co-creating conditions where each person thrives. I see challenges as the context of discovery and values as the center of the work. This requires awareness of, and ability to address systemic oppression at personal, group, systematic, and structural levels. I keep in mind both the immediate needs and the longer-term goals of social change and transformation.
